They are such funny looking beasts! Maybe because I am used to seeing them in books, where they are charicatured even more... What are snowberries used for, when people are not capturing them?

Adorable. @Judy: we have a lot of wild snowberries here, they're pulpy & not very tasty, but the grouse love them.
